GIVING TO THE WORK OF GOD IN OUR CHURCH & CIRCUIT

Envelope Scheme

The “Envelope Scheme” is found by many members and friends to be a convenient method of regular giving to our Church and Circuit. Under this scheme, members and friends receive a packet of envelopes, which are marked with their own individual number and are dated for each Sunday in the year. The envelopes are placed in the Sunday collection.

Standing Order

Many people prefer to use a Standing Order so that they do not have to think about the money each week. Standing Order forms are available on the financial display in the hall.

Gift Aid

If you pay income tax, the “Gift Aid Scheme” enables the Church to receive a tax refund on the amount you have given within the tax year. You do not need to promise any amount in advance. A simple form of authority has to be signed, which lasts until you cancel it. You need to be in the envelope scheme, or have a Standing Order, so that the Gift Aid Secretary is able to trace the amount you have given within the tax year.
